Galveston, Texas is known for its rich history, and there's no better way to experience it than by taking the Galveston Historical Home Tour. This tour offers a glimpse into the past with a variety of beautiful homes and landmarks that have been lovingly preserved and restored.
The Galveston Historical Foundation offers the tour twice a year, in the spring and the fall, and each tour features a different selection of homes. Some of the homes on the tour date back to the 1800s, while others were built in the early 1900s. Many of these homes have been restored to their original grandeur, complete with intricate woodwork, stained glass windows, and beautiful gardens.

The tour is self-guided, allowing visitors to explore the homes at their own pace. Visitors can purchase tickets at any of the featured homes or at the Galveston Historical Foundation's offices. Tickets include a detailed guidebook that provides information about each home on the tour.
In addition to the homes on the tour, visitors can also explore Galveston's many historical landmarks, such as the Bishop's Palace, the Moody Mansion, and the Grand 1894 Opera House. The city's historic district is also home to numerous shops, restaurants, and galleries that showcase the area's rich culture and heritage.
